Hello there! Has anyone on here had any experience with MyTamarin, KoruKids or even Childcare.co.uk.... I'm trying to find a nanny to help with my children for a few days a week whilst my husband and I are working and I wanted to know if anyone has used any of them before I commit to one. Any insight would be very much appreciated. Thank you

As a nanny I use Childcare.co.uk and find that is good for finding part time jobs (I have three). Having as much detail as possible on your profile is important, including what you are prepared to pay (gross wage). Be very clear about hours/days if they are fixed. If you can accommodate different days/hours then say so, as people are looking for what fits with their situation.
Have a paid membership, send messages to people in your local area whose profiles seem to fit. Paid membership is cheapest via website rather than phone app.

I’m in my tamarin and childcare

As nick said a clear add stating days and hours

Is this a perm thing

Local agencies can help as well tho obv cost more

Marr105 · 16/01/2021 09:11

OK thanks @Blondeshavemorefun I will do that. How did you find the vetting etc with My Tamarin? More thorough than other agencies or on par? I'll look more into childcare.co.uk. I was a bit worried that it wasn't that safe and that anyone could pose as a nanny on there and that it was more akin to gumtree or something - but I guess you never really know with any

Also interested in finding out from parents who have used the platforms?

I’m the nanny /mn

As a parent you need to vet well. Check ref dbs ask to see pli

As a mn I find the site annoying , well the parents who tick eveey option so I get an alert or contact me stating they want an after school nanny when my profile says I only work nights

@Blondeshavemorefun lol. I can understand why that would be annoying. I get notifications every time someone looks at my advert - a bit weird - but useful to know people are at least looking

Yes I get notifications @Marr105 when someone looks at me

But when they message and ask /state school day care

That’s annoying
