I have a 2 year old and a 5 month old and I’m due to start an Access to Higher Education Midwifery college course at the end of Feb, to then be able to study Midwifery at University afterwards. My partner earns a decentish wage, however not decent enough to pay for childcare while I study the college course. I know that I can get student finance when I’m at uni, but my problem is there seems to be no help while at college.
Does anyone know if there is any financial help out there for childcare or living costs while studying a college course?
