How much does nanny sharing cost in the West Midlands

Hi all,

We have a 3 month old baby and thinking about nanny sharing for when I start working again. I'm on maternity leave atm, but will probably be out of work soon due to redundancy.

If it all works out, my plan is to find a new job and start working again when he's about 1.

I'm interested to hear from other mumsnetters who do nannysharing how much the total cost is per year or per month?

We're based in the West Midlands

Just need to know which salary the jobs I'll apply for should have to make it worth it.

Thanks xx

I would expect your part of the share to cost around £9 gross an hour.
It will be at least National Minimum Wage. If your home is used then you may find that you pay NMW and the other family pays a higher amount.
