Lockdown 2 - are nannies permitted to work?

Hello all,

I had a bit of bother during the first lockdown and didn’t work for a long time as I was shielding and living with a clinical vulnerable person.

I have been working since August but now am unsure if I can continue working as a nanny or if I have to stay at home? The rules are slightly more relaxed as it says that previously shielding people don’t have to this time but to be more careful so I just wondering what other nannies are doing this time round.

If anyone knows any more info than I do then please inform me!!

If you are working then you can continue to do so. If you are shielding you should continue to do that.

I’m sure I don’t know more than you but that’s what I’ve understood.

If you can’t work at home you can go to work

Nannies mn cleaners could have all legally worked first time and same again now
