two under ones?

o have a baby of my own that will be about 5 months old when i start back childminding and have been offered another baby of the same age two days a week.will ofsted allow me to take on this baby..how can i prove that i am capable even though i m a qualified N.N.E.B of 20 yrs and have had past expereince of this and managed but you know how ofsted aer with their rules.. anybody else have done this with two babies

I have permission for two under ones, although have rarely used it. You need to write to them explaining how you would cope in an emergency, getting them out of the house, what equipment you have for them, e.g. two high chairs, double buggy etc. also explain what baby experience you have & what your qualifications are.

out of interest what is the charge for two children one under a year and one 3 years

bambi - I presume it's just like any other variation, show them you've covered everything i.e. what equipment you have, how you will transport the children, what experience you have etc etc. I'm about to apply for a variation for 2 under 1's but it's only for about 3 weeks - they will be 11 months and 9/10 months and I hope that for the sake of 3 weeks, they will say yes. do they have to come out and visit for this or do i put all details ina letter?

I've done several variation letters and they've not come out. They've only ever come out for normal inspection and when I requested overnight care.
