Weekend childcare for 13 year old?

I'm just wondering if anyone uses any type of clubs etc for their 13 year old for childcare?

I will be working weekends and i dont want my dd sitting alone all day. I have found a drama club which is on for 3 hours. Any other ideas?

Generally it isnt expected that 13yr olds need childcare. Teenagers that age are getting themselves to school unsupervised etc.

If you don't want her sat alone all day would she not be going off to meet her friends? Has she got hobbies she can do?

On a Saturday at that age I was in a local youth music group which took up the morning, afternoons I would usually have ridden my bike & called on friends and we would have spent the afternoon wandering round shops or in parks chatting.

At 13 I had a job and went to the movies or friends' houses or shopping, getting there myself by bike or bus. Unless your 13 year old is lacking maturity for her age she should be able to sort herself out? If there's something she wants to do and needs help getting there (not on bus route?) or being picked up she can ask you can't she

I know this is at home, but lots of places are offering online courses at the moment, eg coding, music etc.

Will you be working all day Saturday and Sunday? Surely it depends on her interests? There are loads of team sports at weekends but several of them need parental involvement to get to away matches.
I understand what you mean about childcare - I wouldn't want even a mature 13 year old left alone all day both weekend days.
