Should we get gift for Nanny?

Our nanny of 4 years has resigned from her post. However she will still be doing babysitting for us twice a month.

Should we get her a leaving gift and thank you card? I'm in two minds because she will still be babysitting for us so is not really leaving us for good...

I should say I get very embarrassed when giving gifts but that's just me being strange.

I think it would be a lovely gesture, but I'm sure a heartfelt card and maybe a memento made by the kid/a would be more than enough!

Definitely a thank you card at least. I do not ever expect gifts but am always grateful when I get them. Honestly a bunch of flowers and a lovely cars goes a long way.
