Babysitters

How do you find an occasional babysitter? We are lucky enough that "Grandma and Grandad" look after the kids if we've got something planned. However, DD just joined a theatre group. DS is far too young to go to her shows, but G&G obviously want to watch her perform so can't look after DS. We've not got anyone who can step in (those who've said yes are either never available or have let us down at the last minute). Where do you even begin finding a babysitter?

Nursery staff if you use/used nursery
Teenage neighbours
Take turns to babysit with friends - saves money
Recommendations from friends
Agency if none of the above

As above as a childminder I offer babysitting on childcare.co.uk.....make sure you go for someone with first aid, references and suitability checks if you dont use an Ofsted registered person....ofsted means they have these things.
