Does anyone know if your a registered ofsted nanny can you hire another persons with your ofsted registration number to look after your child and that way claim childcare funds

No you can't. The person caring for your child would need to be registered in their own right. Where would this person be caring for your child/children? If they based themselves at your home, then they would be your nanny.

Not all types of childcare funding apply to care provided by a nanny. Only Tax-Free Childcare, Employer Supported Childcare (Childcare Vouchers), Childcare Grant and Tax Credits/Universal Credit childcare element would apply. Not 15/30 hour pre-school education funding.
