Mine charged 60 pounds a day. 8-6. She gave him lunch and dinner. I provided nappies. I paid for any classes she took him to.

Depends where in london it varys a lot. In hillingdon its between £3.50 and £6 per hour depending on which bit your in.

London rates vary massively. My friend paid £10 per hour in East London.

CMs in London are often the same price as a local nursery. I actually live right next to a nursery and there are 2 others on the way to my CM. My CM charges £7 an hour in SW London but has fewer children - some days she only has one child - and more flexible hours. Like if DD went to nursery I provide nappies and use to provide formula. CM pays for activities and food.

I'm also in NW London & found the childminder pricing was the same as the nursery. I went for the nursery in the end as I didn't want to have to deal with childminder being sick or taking holidays during times inconvenient to me.
