Hi everyone
For the first time my children are really old enough to be upset about our current au pair leaving ( they are 7 and 5). She has also been our longest au pair - 18 months - and really very lovely and gentle with them. I am also a single parent so in some ways I guess our au pair is also maybe a bigger presence?
I don’t know why but for some reason I hadn’t factored in how upset they would be! I’m hoping it being Christmas will help! Any tips for helping them - we have a new au pair arriving in January.
