Tips for finding a 3 day nanny job in West Surrey

Any tips for finding a 3-day (Wed, Thur, Fri) nanny job in West Surrey / Berkshire/Hampshire border area?

ChildcareCoUk, NannyJob, nanny agencies... have been looking since late May and not finding anything suitable. Are all day jobs hard to find at the moment, a lot seem to be before/after school care rather than working with babies/toddlers.

Nick, I'd apply for this one

www.nannyjob.co.uk/job/436079/Nanny-West_Sussex but just let them know that you can't do the Monday. You have lots of experience and it's 2 boys as well.

Alas that is 30+ miles away from me with a drive time of 1 hour plus. I used to work near M25J8 and I stopped that job due to the travel.

Thanks for the suggestion though.

I’d have snapped you up about six months ago, had you been the Kent side of the m25. Would you consider a more specialist role? Nannying a child with SN or SEN? Snap is an agency that would be good for you to sign up to, if you were.

Also, would you do temping type agency work? Our employer offers an emergency nanny service, and that is through an agency. It is to cover a nanny calling in sick through to a nanny going on a planned holiday/taking planned sick leave. So the jobs could be anything from a day or a couple of days at a time through to a couple of months.

I'm on the emergency nanny system.
SNAP does occasionally have jobs in my area but many are more towards London.

Maybe in 2020 there will be more demand.
