Hi all,
I’m researching childcare options and interested to know how people make jobs and childcare work for their family.
Do you use nurseries? Wrap-around for school? Childminder? Family member? What do you do when your child is poorly? Can you work flexibly?
Would love to hear about some different set-ups that people have got.
My husband and I have different demands of our jobs, he has to leave early but might have to stay late, and I have to stay late but sometimes have to leave early! So we had to opt for a Nanny.
Please share your experiences! It’s for a blog.

I’m a nanny and I currently work as a before and after school nanny. My daughter (aged 6) comes with me as she goes to the same school as the girls I look after

A nanny is the only option if you need your child looked after when they are ill. Neither a nursery or childminder will accept poorly children
