Hey guys. My previous nanny is in need of a written reference for a job she's desperate to get. I haven't a clue where to start and am not a natural with writing . She literally saved my life when I needed help and I want to give her a spectacular ref. By any chance would anyone have some tips or a template I could follow? Thank u ❤

Has your nanny got other written references they could show you? You could then use those as inspiration for what to write.
Some of mine can be found at www.nannynick.com perhaps those will give you some inspiration.

One side of A4, talk about facts such as reliability, punctuality, what duties they did, anything particularly impressive they did that you had not expected.

Dear zzzzx

It is with great pleasure that I recommend vvvv to you for the position of xxxx.

I have known vvvv since hhhh when she joined our family in the role of ddds. During the ggg years that she was with us she has taken responsibility for all areas of our children’s care and early education. Our children were ddd ages when she joined us, and with her support and encouragement they have learnt dddd and developed into xxxxx.

In addition to her specified duties vvv also regularly undertook to gggg and on many occasions kkkk. She is responsible for literally saving my life when kkkk.

I firmly believe that vvv will be a wonderful asset to your organisation/team/family and can not recommend her to you more highly. She will be greatly missed from ours.

If I can be of any further assistance, please do not hesitate to get in touch.

Yours sincerely

Pppp

I could send you a copy of mine from my last employer if I can figure out how?
