Nanny Agencies

Hi All,

I am trying without much success to get a live out nanny for my three children, aged 9,6 and 5.

I've subscribed to care.com, childcare.co.uk but somehow I can't get one who would fit in.

Do/Did you have the same problem?

Are there better agencies?

Can you personally recommend someone by PM ing me?

Thanks a lot!

Would help to know your location. There are not many agencies who cover nationwide.

I'm a nanny looking for work and I am not finding that agencies have many jobs available. I have interviewed for a couple of families via ChildcareCoUk who were also using an agency whom I was registered with, yet the agency had not matched me to the job... so not sure I could suggest any good agencies.

Is there something about the job that is putting people off applying? I find that some ads on childcare listings sites have so little info that it's impossible to know what the job actually is and what it is paying.

Hi nannynick, Thanks for your message. I live in HA4 area near Ruislip High Street and St Martins Church.

You could try getting in touch with colleges in your area that do childcare courses to ask if they have a system for placing newly qualified graduates. It's coming up to that time of year.
