Childcare.co.uk problem

Has anyone had experience of looking for jobs on childcare.co.uk who could help me with the following questions please?

I have favourited parents profiles and had them like mine back but as we are both free members are we in stalemate/unable to communicate further until one of us upgrades to paying membership?

Is it correct that a free member can only contact a paying member (gold)?

If I choose to pay to be a gold paying membership I be able to send and receive messages to other gold members and free members?

Hi, yes you have to be a gold member at £25 a month to be be able to send messages to both gold and free members

Are you a self-employed childminder? If you are, paying for membership would be a tax-deductible expense.

Thanks underneath, I am looking for nannying jobs and had been recommended to use this website but didn't realise the rules around using it.

I was a gold member for a while, which means that I should have received messages/emails/notifications when someone had messaged me, but I never did.I didn't check my account very often, as I thought I would get emails, but one day I looked at it and had 9 messages from people seeking childcare-I didn't know anything about them, and some of them were several months old.I contacted all of them, but they'd found alternative care as I hadn't responded to them. I went onto my settings with childcare.co.uk and made sure all my details were correct, which they were, but I still never got anything. Cancelled my membership soon after.

They offer deals - I have life membership at £12-13 a month. As long as I don’t cancel

I can’t justify the £25 a month usual cost but don’t mind half price

But yes one of the two have to be a member to be able to message
