Anyone got any helpful advice please?

He is a 2nd year Uni student & doesn't really know where to start.

What are the chances of him finding a nice family who will be agape with a male au pair? I had one when my DC were little (both boys) so hoping there are others around.

Thanks!

He just needs to put a profile on au pair world, with lots of photos. Read other profiles first to get some ideas of what to write and he can contact families too.
He needs to commit to as long as possible, most families don’t want someone for just a month.

Tell him to have a look on Toytown Germany, a website for English speaking immigrants in Germany. There's a section for au pairs. Most people are looking for longer term help but he might happen across a family that just wants someone for summer help.

Meant to say: most German families wouldn't be in the slightest fazed by a male au pair. The Toytown audience is mainly Brits/Americans/Australians/NZ - probably less enthused than native Germans.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone - he's working on a profile now.
