I have a 10 week old baby who just will not sleep! Nights are dreadful waking every 2hrs, then unable to settle him for regular naps during the day. I am exhausted & desperate!! Has anyone used a night nanny to help these things? And I’m based in Cambridgeshire, does anyone have any recommendations please??

I’m a maternity night nanny tho in KENT so nowhere near you

Google agencies near you. May be a branch of sleeping Nannies or night Nannies near you

Yes I've had one from an agency with DC1. She was great and booking it instantly made me feel better. If you've got the money - go for it. I sleep with earplugs and take an antihistamine when someone else is doing a night shift though to make sure I don't end up lying awake listening to the crying!

Tbh countess your baby shouldn’t have been crying lots with a mn

They should be there attending to your babies needs whether feeding changing winding and settling etc

This is should be done without lots of tears

Obv babies do cry - but shouldn’t be lots of tears unless suffering from wind colic etc and even then the mn should be holding comforting reassuring etc

Earplugs etc shouldn’t be needed by yourself 💐
