Hello,
looking for ideas for toddler classes.
i'm looking to start up some toddler classes around Sutton as there isn't really any available - as mums what classes would you take your children to during the week or on weekends?
what sort of prices would you pay for a couple of hours of entertainment for your children?

We do mom and baby swimming lessons at our local pool. I am planning to start French lessons for DS and DD on Saturday mornings as well. When my stepdaughter was a baby I took her to baby music classes and participated in baby massage therapy too. Anything up to £30 seems reasonable to me personally.

Our successful ones for my three when they were toddlers were; little kickers, rugby tots, cooking (3+), swimming, one of them loved Gymboree (which I'm not sure they have anymore) and the other Kindergym. DD liked Playball, ballet and Monkey music.

Price would depend on the activity, something with lots of equipment is always more expensive, but TBH I didn't;t really consider the price if it was something they and I enjoyed doing.

Language classes. I think about £2.50/3 a child is reasonable.

No offence, but whilst I can see the value in a little market research, I’d be looking for some level of expertise: that you deliver whatever you’re good at and enthusiastic about. I’d want to know you were skilled at something rather than asking around then somehow trying to do whatever sounds popular.

You may struggle to find parents who’ll pay a sensible price to cover your time, costs, venue hire, etc. That’s been the experience of most people I know who’ve tried this sort of thing.
