Very part time nanny

I’m hoping to return to work full time from September and considering a nanny for my two dc. However, I would only really need her from 7-9am in the morning.

I could add two full days of looking after the younger one but she’s already in Nursery the other three days so seems silly to take her out.

I could also add in picking up dc from school or childcare but I thought that would make it an even more unappealing job as I wouldn’t really be able to afford to pay her during the day on the three days when both dc are out at school/nursery.

Just wondered if this is totally unrealistic or if anyone else has a similar arrangement? I would need to leave quite early for this new job as does my dh which is why I thought of getting a nanny.

Can't you look into a childminder that does school drop offs? Drop them there before you go to work?

Thanks for replying Smile I have had a look locally but the only one I could find didn’t have any availability. I can keep looking. Other problem is I would be wanting to leave for work about 7am and i don’t think chikdminders always want to start that early but I could be wrong.
