Nanny or babysitter

I need someone to look after my children around 3 afternoons a week 1-5 while i work from home. I'll not be asking for housework and snacks will be prepared in advance.
The oldest is 3 and youngest will have turned 1.
Do I need a babysitter or nanny? I'm a bit concerned I'm not advertising to the right applicant.

That’s more a nanny job really.

Nanny.

What do you mean by 'around'. Either you want someone three afternoons per week or you don't.
Maybe you are a bit flexible on which days it is, or even which hours, but once decided on the days/hours you may not be wanting those to change very often.

It will be hard to fill the job, it's not all day. Consider whom it would suite - a parent with school aged children probably would not be suited to it due to the timings, where as 10-2 might fit well.

Part time nanny job is how I would advertise it and run payroll. You want consistency.

Thanks to you both. I want 3 afternoons but will be flexible if the applicant wanted more.
I will use pt nanny. Thanks again!
