What would you put in yours?

So far I have nappies and changing stuff, carrier bag, first aid kit, water.

What else would you suggest?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

A spare outfit for everyone. Coats. Snacks.

GeorgieTheGorgeousGoat · 10/12/2018 21:59

Snacks! You can never have too many snacks, will need to be non perishable though. Clothes will be in our regular changing bag, this is just in case I get locked out or break down or forget something.

Emergency contact numbers in a sealed envelope for parents and your next of kin.
An emergency blanket (2 for £1 in Poundland) because they take up virtually no space but can be very useful.

Blanket/ sleeping bag
Snow shovel
Torch
One of those mobile phone power pack jobbies

Money. Some emergency notes and pound coins.

Standard winter emergency kit - probably varies a bit by where you live. We are in Scotland so serious heavy duty coats - workman’s high vis, blanket, water, snacks, shovel, if we are going somewhere rural then old carpet or similar to provide traction for the wheels if we get stuck - if you live in central London some of this probably isn’t necessary!

Water. A big fleece blanket.
