What part of Surrey are you in?

dmo · 24/06/2007 10:20

dont know depends on:
if they come everyday
if they come after school
if they come in hols
do they want feeding
are you going to make a special trip to take them to school or are you going to that school anyway
is it for short term or for the unseeable future

I would charge for an hour, for both girls, as there are two of them at same time it makes it more palatable!

KaySamuels · 24/06/2007 10:32

For me that would be a fiver! My rate is only £2.50!

I have had a mindee for one hour in the past tho once a week after school, I just charged her mum for the hour, and she really appreciated it. This family are now my 'bread and butter' and I couldn't stop minding them if I wanted to!

When I had to pay our after school nanny to do half an hour in the morning I paid for an hour because to have to get yourself up to be here for 7.30am just to do one hour for an hour's pay is a huge effort and I was terribly grateful anyone would do it. I think I paid £10 at that time of day.

MaureenMLove · 24/06/2007 11:01

Definately charge for whole hour, for both girls. Not worth doing it for any less imho.
