Tax credits help

Hi all, I am a working parent and my husband is also in full time work I am due back in January and have been advised to look into tax free childcare! On the website when applying it says my child tax credits will stop is this right? Please could anyone advise what is best to do here of if I will be entitled to both. TIA

It will all depend on your circumstances. Tax-Free Childcare cannot be used with the childcare element of Working Tax Credit, so your tax credits claim would stop.
