I'm looking for a childminder for my baby boy to start in about 3 months. I've contacted several local childminders here in Crouch End and most of them don't respond to my messages. I'm a bit confused about what's going on. Do they get so many messages they can't respond to them all? Do they not have waiting lists or advance bookings? Maybe you just have to be lucky to get in touch when they have a vacancy? Or are they so busy with their work that they don't check their emails? Any tips and advice most welcome.
