Dear parents, we are moving to Dulwich and would like to get recommendations for nurseries in the Village or nearby. We listed the following and we'd be grateful to hear your views and experience. Thanks a million.

We would also really like to get opinions about Ruskin House School, thanks :-)

Half moon has a very good reputation, though the premises are in a church hall and fairly basic. The downside is that you have to make a packed lunch, and there are no extended hours, so it's 9-3 only. Also very long waiting list.
Little fingers is nice, doesn't do anything outstanding, but safe and caring.
Nellys - a friend had both of hers there full time, and speaks very highly of them, on the ball with managing medications etc.
Dulwich Montessori is not on your list, but is a lovely caring environment.
One to avoid: Piplings in East Dulwich - beautiful setting, but horrendous staff turnover and really difficult management.

Hi RockCrushesLizard, that's so helpful. Thank you very much :-). We like the Montessori approach but 9-3 would be hard for working parents, I'm going to check Dulwich Montessori, thanks for mentioning it.
