Variation

I spoke to Ofsted inspector on Friday who said she'd agreed my variation request and had "pushed the button" so that my new cert would be sent.

Can I now mind the new amount of children or do I still have to wait til I actually receive the cert? Any idea how long it takes? Is it just a case of 1st class post or does it sit in a pile for 3 weeks waiting for someone at ofsted to send it out?

They send a letter of intent first - in case it is wrong and you want to dispute it then 2 weeks after that they send out the real thing

or you can waive your right to appeal to get it sent quicker

is it more common that varietion requests are done over the phone? can't bare the thought of another visit, I turn into mad OCD woman.
