So I'm struggling to find any help or info for Cross border childcare.
We currently live in England, 1-2 miles away from the Welsh Border, We both work in Wales and my Son therefore goes to 2 nursery's based in Wales.
He will be 3 in July so should get some sort of funding in September but I am struggling to find any info :(
We also have another child due next month and can't really afford 2 children in childcare come next September so trying to find out what we are entitled to.
The Welsh county the childcare is in is introducing 30 free hours childcare, via the welsh government, if both parents are working but the Welsh Government informs me I have to live in Wales to be entitled to it and therefore speak to Gov.com for English info, so I ring them and get told there is no help they can provide Wales needs to advise.
Feel like I am going around in circles already.
Has anyone else come across this? I can't be the only one who lives on the border yet there is no info anywhere for us who live on the borders.
Our lives are still in Wales we only live here in England as it was the right price at the time. Our family is also in the town he has his childcare, I would be hindrance to my work to move him into an English setting due to travelling and costs.
