Is everyone having a lie in this morning? - its nearly 9.30!
Mindee 1 & dd at school and mindee2 tucking into breakfast. Bless her, I do feel for her, she gets here at 6.15 and she is whacked til at least 10am! As for me, I'm too tired to go out tonight, so maybe I'll give it a miss!

Morning, my screaming baby was due at 8.30 but mum texted an hour before to say that she'd come at 9.30 and has just emailed saying she's dead chuffed that a trick I mentioned yesterday has made baby go to sleep just like i said and so she'll be round once baby wakes up - hopefully baby will have a nice long sleep so I can do my Overnight Care request

Off to grab my toast

dmo · 15/06/2007 09:31

That bacon butty looks the best! I want one!! As for marmite with ham I love marmite on it's own and like it with cheese but never tried with ham!! Mum likes it with marmalade! (i like it with the lime flavour)

KaySamuels · 15/06/2007 10:33

Morning everyone!

It's a teacher training day here and I promised mindee we would go swimming - didn't know at the time it would be pouring it down!! Still going but it's going to be a real pain to get there in the rain!

Marmite - bleugh!!
We have had crumpets with peanut butter and builder's tea here!

soak · 15/06/2007 10:40

marmite and marmalade?!?!?!!

I like peanut butter and salad cream - don't knock it til you've tried it!!

hennipenni · 15/06/2007 10:40

Morning, just very excited as have just got mindee2 to eat Apple complete with skin!!!!would only eat bananasa and grapes when first started with me but now eating cherries, pears and apples too!!!

dmo · 15/06/2007 11:23

we all need to get out more

MaureenMLove · 15/06/2007 12:20

Well done henni! I'm excited today too. My mindee is really coming along with having a convo with me. She's 3, but would never talk to me. She'd say things, but as soon as I talked back to her, she shut up! Very, very shy. The last few weeks have been getting better though and she even stepped away from me in the library to hold hands with the librarian and do some singing!
I was reluctant about ham & marmite too, but tis good!

Afternoon all - I am having a busy day rearranging the playroom

ju · 15/06/2007 14:03

Hi girls I've been having awful problems with my computer and my alternative at mum's has been on the blink. Just borrowing a friend's to pop in to say boo hoo I've missed you and I'll be back as and when. You'll have to save up all the gossip and tell me all about it
Love to you all Ju x x

PinkChick · 15/06/2007 14:03

arrgh i could dry today, once mindee due at 6.30 turned up 8am, mindee due at 9.30 arrived at 8.30 with tiny summer coat, no wellies, not hat/coat with hood nothing and it has absolutely poured down here all day one mindee due 8.30 arrived 8.45 at school with huige bag full of stuff for weekend, i had double buggy so bag had to be hoked over that, meaning everything is soaking wet..one mindee has cried constantly all day, older mindee who i am concerned about ability wise has just given =me blank expressions all day when ive asked her to do anything ive tried everything to keep them amused but nothing is working and my heds about to cave in

PinkChick · 15/06/2007 14:05

yes i could also dry as ive been soaked through twice but i meant i could cry!

madge7 · 15/06/2007 14:05

Hi Everyone,

Hope your all fine today! Enjoyed the bacon sandwich! Thanks!

Mo????? Are you gonna go?

Looney, how did she get the littlie to sleep then? Wow, what good luck hey!

Peanut butter and sliced tomatoes is a good combo..........

MaureenMLove · 15/06/2007 14:18

Yes, I'm going. Kbear has given me a good talking to this morning and assured me that if its really bad, my dh is going to take our dd down to her house (bottom of road), he will baby sit her lo's whilst her dh comes and gets us! I've bought a bottle of vermouth today(!!!!) Cheap rubbish I know, but very effective in numbing my whole body, so I won't care, I feel! I'm absolutely shattered! First mindee arrived at 6.15 this morning and last one goes at 6.30 tonight.
