Funded 3-4yo places in Scotland

Hello,

Looking for advice regarding the funded hours childcare in Scotland

Some local authorities are offering more support in line with England's 30hours funded if the child's family meets a certain criteria.

I am in Scotland, have applied through the gov.uk website for help with childcare and have been emailed back to say I am eligible for tax-free childcare. This is excellent but i have actually being paying full costs of my childcare for the last two years. Near tears thinking of the money I've missed out on....

In the email there's no mention on if my DC is eligible for the 30hours funded (although we meet the criteria) although her birthday isn't until the end of October.

I guess my question is, are there any of you receiving 30hrs funded childcare and if so what region/LA are you in?

TIA

North Lanarkshire talks about it being in place by 2020

I'm Ayrshire and I knew some places were trialling it but it doesn't seem to be available.

I shall just have to keep on keeping on and be thankful for the 15hours funded!

Thank you for replying

I don't think anywhere does it yet, it's still in trial phase. Stating next august I think for the borders.
