which websites or apps do you use to find babysitters? I'd really like to go out with my husband for a date night, but we just moved to loughborough and don't know any sitters?

As a babysitter myself, I am on Childcare.co.uk and most of my work comes from there or word of mouth and places people come across me such as I help at church under 3's group.

I used to go on personal recommendations, and my dc now get all their work through people they know and personal recommendations.

Presumably, if you have just moved to a new place, then at least one of you have work colleagues ? that's a good place to start - either for people they use themselves, or for their own grown up dc to sit for you.

Or my dc have both sat for parents of the cubs, they are Leaders with - might be worth asking at something like that (don't know what age your dc are, or how long "just moved to..." is.
