Morning All! windows open, kettle's on and if you're quick, there's some Mo made chocolate muffins for breakie!
Much as I love my dd at home, I'm sooo glad she's going to school today! I do like a bit of routine and I since I didn't have much last week at all (only worked 1 day), I can't wait to crack on with the week. Got mindee who is/was difficult to talk to, today. She's still asleep atm, I hope she hasn't forgotten what a good day we had when I last had her 2 weeks ago!

What have you all got planned for today?

Its toy sorting day! I've got far too many! Friends seem to think that when their kids get too old for them, I need them! I haven't got a playroom that I can shut the door on, so things need to be sorted in their boxes. I used to have boxes sorted according to age, but they are all over the place atm. The making & doing stuff is disgraceful too! I know I need to buy more paints and I've got to get a charity bag on the go. Mindee(3) & me will bond again over the toys I think!

Only 3 mindees today & no-one for breakfast - so a really quiet day with no company

I'm meant to be going to toddler group but i'm not sure if i can face it, i'm quite new there and haven't really got anyone to chat to.
I'm tired because I've been busy packing plus went out for my friends birthday.

I gave notice to new mindee on friday and her mum txt me yesterday saying i owed her money and that she isnt bringing children this week because she's quit her job because of me (so i feel a bit upset over that)
Mindee that arrived this morning was 5 mins early and i wasn't ready so I said something about it and now i feel bad about that too (i wasn't nasty about it just she said oh sorry we're a bit early and i said its ok but you shouldn't really do that because i'm not ready yet, gestured towards my wet hair)
To top it all off we're moving house on sunday and my internet is being cut off. I feel a bit weird today.

Sounds like you could do with being online this week LMG! Does this parent say you owe her money because she is not working this week? I don't get it! (still early!)

She paid for the week last week then decided not to start the children until wednesday her choice so i still get paid for the tuesday, i have decided that as she was only here a week i will give her BH's money back she seemed to think she had paid until wednesdya this week, i said no you pay weekly for the hours in the contract regardless of what you actually use. I'm doing her cheque for mondays mmoney then i hope she will leave me alone as i really don't need the stress right now!

Oh I see. Fair point, I don't think I'd bother arguing about the money either, under the circumstances. And no, you were perfectly right to mention the time this morning. If you don't nip it in the bud now, she'll get earlier and earlier!

think wen she comes ill apologise if i was short with her (not sure if i was the most polite, it was early, unexpected and my mind is on other things) so i'll apologise n explain its because last week another child turned up half hr early so im clamping down on it as its unfair.

Morning all! Got a quiet day today (no morning school run as kids trying it on their own)
No littlies, during day just 3 after schoolers.

I am gonna stuff envelopes today with flyers and brochures for my area's businesses and do my paperwork. Groan!
Had a lovely day yesterday so need to buckle down now and do all my boring jobs!

Last day off school for DD today, she goes back tomorrow Yipee!!
Have 2 mindees today and no sunshine, cloudy but still warm. Playing with the cars at the moment, we have already built cars and towers with the stickle bricks.
Will pop in for a coffee with my dad sometime as it's his 60th birthday today.

mumlove, you sound so down. it doesnt seem fair that you should have to give her money back. I know what you mean though- give it for aquiet life. As for mentioning the early start this morning to the mum, i think its ok. She will just keep doing it otherwise!

I would just like some more time and energy please if anyone has some spare, my FIL is going to be in hospital for at least another 4 weeks as he lives alone, but are hoping to send him to a more local hospital (please, the traveling takes to much time).
Well I am now having a coffee while the 2 mindees sleep and DD is watching a dvd.

I just got a phonecall about another mindee and they can't pay me til end of week so things are fab round here today They are a nice family and i kno i will get the money so im not worried just a pita but these things happen its not like they do it every week. at least next week im off and can concentrate on getting settled again

Yay something good just happened! I've set up a meeting with a family coming to see me tomorrow about a ft space so fingers crossed please!!!!!!!!!
