Hi we are just about to move house to new area. My DS will be starting school in September so he will need full time childcare for a couple of weeks. Any idea of best option (he is currently at preschool). Many thanks

Childminder

I’d also suggest a childminder.

Also, check if the school does the 'staggered start' thing for reception class. If DS isn’t doing regular hours for the first few days/weeks you may need to extend the the childcare arrangements until he's on proper school hours.

You can insist the school fulfils it’s duty to deliver full time education, but it can be a real battle and invariably means you will be labelled "that parent" from day one.
