some of you have already answered on a different thread BUT

my family are going to be a prac family for a trainee nanny and I wondered what things specifically I should 'work' on with her.

She will do the school and kindy run as well as therapy, swimming etc ( have a child with sn)

I am also going to teach her makaton signing and try and educate her about children with down syndrome ( condition my daughter has)

also have a 9 week old and a 2 1/2 year old. THought about activites for the girls - preparing lunches for them, chaning dd1's nappies, helping with bathing her perhaps.

Anything else??

Here I don't think they are allowed to do anything without you iyswim
food shopping, meal plans, soft play, take and prepare for swimming if lo go in water by themselves (I'm guessing not insured to go in)baby music, playgroup if you go to any. Also need to come up with their own ideas, ask them to plan 'timetable', practice keeping a nanny diary, practice discussing 'problems' with you (even if made up) HTH
Oh and when you've trained her up can she come and work for me?!!
My lo have been doing 'finger talking' at nursery they love it
