Student Nannies?

My DDs are 12 and 14 and after many years of hosting au pairs, I feel we have finally come to the end of the line with that type of arrangement. Now that the girls are pretty independent and au pairs generally cannot help with their now more advanced homework due to language differences, there isn't very much for them to do other than more housework, which wouldn't be fun or fair for them. Nevertheless I wouldn't want my youngest especially to come home to an empty house every day and I was therefore thinking of trying to find a local student to come for a few afternoons a week to be a friendly companion and help with homework. I have just subscribed to a website called studentnannies.com, which aims to put working parents and local students looking for childcare jobs with flexible hours to fit round their studies in touch with each other. I was wondering if anyone has already used the website and if so how you have found it? Did you have any success in finding the right student? Thanks.
