Free free frreeeeee - Only have 17 mo dd here who has so far refused her naps and all food. Oh joy - but grumpy about it nonetheless. We have to leave for school run in 45 mins so I guarentee she will fall asleep within the next 5-10 mins and be hideous on school run.

Mindee 2 (2.75) told me she didn't like it here (comes 3 hours 2x per week) but her mum said it was because she was tired as she was here during her nap time (stayed longer today so mummy could go to dentist). Still, a tad upset since I ran around trying to kep her happy!

sigh.. good thing they are so darn cute!

crace · 10/05/2007 14:09

Three strikes and they are all out!

All three are asleep! And no school run today so maybe I am in for a quiet afternoon!

crace · 10/05/2007 14:26

I knew it! DD sound asleep on sofa - and we have to leave in 30 mins.

Thanks Shosha, I see her at the school run and she's always happy to see me - but sniff it's hard to hear it.

These kiddies.

Booh - here's hoping for a quiet afternoon for you.

PS - thanks for the coffee, might sneak back for the baileys later! I just had 4 non virtual oatmeal cookies. LOL I am blaming it on the pregnancy. Remind me not to do that or I will have trouble keeping my big fat belly hidden until 12 weeks!

LoveMyGirls · 10/05/2007 14:31

I've had good news - OFSTED phoned to say should be ok to re-open from new address in about a month - woohooooooooooooo

Second bit of news is that baby for june is still interested and can't wait to meet up with me again and is still very eager for me to look after baby, nothing set in stone yet but still nice to know its still in the pipeline. Wish i could get a retainer etc but on mat pay with no job yet its not possible and if i push for it i'll lose her altogether so best to wait it out until either it happens or i get another baby!

MaureenMLove · 10/05/2007 17:52

Hi everyone! I've been so busy today, I've only just had time to catch up. [Mo looks curiously at the array of coffee] I've had no kids during the day, so I tackled my bedroom. The feathers fromour pillows get everywhere! After school, Ihad 3 mindee boys 7, 8 & 11 and I have been teaching them to jump into a skipping rope. I've never seem anything so funny! It must be an inbred girl thing - they just couldn't do it! They kept trying to get me to do it, but my excuse was that the rope wasn't going high enough for me to jump in! May have to try tomorrow, when dh and dd can hold the rope for me. You watch - I'll fall flat on my face! One mindee left, should be going in 10 mins, but his mum phoned to say she'd missed her train AGAIN. She was clearly still in the office because I couldn't hear any noise in the background!

Shoshable · 10/05/2007 18:02

Dont you just hate that No had amother like that once, but she never even used to phone , at 1/2 hour late I would phone her and she would say 'Oh Im about ten minutes away' Duh so why did her work number come up on my phone. And work was 45 mins away! Gave her notice after saying to her that she HAD to be on time (5.30) cos we where going to a dimmer dance with friends that night a Leaving at 7, well she arrived at 6.50!!! luckily DH entertained the little one while I dressed, her response when I was very obviously hangy ' well I got here before you needed to go out!'

Sometimes there are parents that really do find their kids to be a bit of an inconvenience, aren't there? This one certainly does. She asked me once if I could take him to an after school club at the sports centre, as he didn't do any clubs! I have 5 other mindees, not enough space in the car and a 3 mile walk to the sports centre! So I got some leaflets from the library on evening and weekend clubs!!

Shoshable · 10/05/2007 18:08

I have had very little probs with parents, but most of the things I post about were this parent! They really do seem to think that we dont have a life apart from childminding!
