I earn £122 per week but pay £10 into a pension weekly which reduces it to £112.

Is the minimum income of £120 per week for 30 hours childcare for nursery kids before or after you take off pension contributions?

I am a single mum and can't increase my work hours more than this as my other child (not the one at nursery) has autism and I receive DLA for him. I've applied for carers allowance also but await the outcome.
Thanks

I think it is After. Your local county council Family Information Service may be worth a call to see if they can confirm eligibility.

May depend how the pension is deducted. If it is not salary sacrifice (I which I suspect it is not as you are a low earner and sacrificing salary would put you below NMW) then it may not count for 30-hours eligibility.

Apply and see what happens.

Are you keeping your income at that level to make sure you don't lose carers allowance?
