Mother's helper needed

Hi,

I'm looking for childcare to be provided in my home.

I have suffered a life threatening illness and have spent most of the last 6 months in hospital. All this just after my daughter's 1st birthday! The plan was for my husband to return to work this week and for our daughter to attend nursery. However, this is going to be too huge a change for our daughter who clearly has attachment issues, to the point where she screams if my husband just goes to the bathroom.

We've decided that a far better option would be for me to take care of our daughter but as I'm not physically able to do this myself, I would need a mother's helper (such an old fashioned term!) to support me. I'd be at home and will take the lead in caring for my daughter, just need someone to run after my daughter (she's very active) and to lift her at nappy changing time or when she decides to climb on the table!

I really don't have a lot of time to sort all this, we need someone by Friday who can work Tuesday - Friday 8am to 5pm. Even if it's a combination of people that would work too. Any suggestions of where I can go to for help would be appreciated. I live in West London with good access to public transport.

Thanks for your help in advance,
Kavita
