I am currently study communication between early years practitioners and parents, and I would like a parents perspective on this. How do staff communicate with you at your child's setting? Which methods work best for you, or don't work at all. Any tips on how information sharing between staff and parents could be improved.
Thank you

i liked it when I got a piece of paper to take home at the end of the day saying when baby had eaten / slept etc. if they told me in person at pickup, I'd have forgotten by the time I got home. for non-routine things, it is better to talk at pickup

Taking time to discuss sleep and food at pickup with a weekly home to nursery book works great for us
