CM Club: Does this work?

Katymac · 30/03/2007 21:08

I have collected together

Ducks
Chicks
Eggs
Rabbits
Lambs
Rabbits
Spring FLowers

In all froms from round the play room & stuck them in a basket

It has

Books - Story & factual
cuddly toys
Puppets
Jigsaws
Picture

I thought to discuss "Spring" with the children....does this work? Is it Birth to Three (I don't think so - but thought if I put it on the side & the children picked bits of it I could discuss them)?

Or is it a load of crap?

I think the kids would love it and learn something, which is surely what matters most.

Actually i might copy it

dmo · 30/03/2007 22:27

saltire · 30/03/2007 22:29

I know, you are all nice. I'm actually off to bed, but i wanted to check my thread, wasn't expecting so many "irate" sounding people about what was essentially a joke question.

dmo · 30/03/2007 22:32

Hi Kate

I love the idea and am sure the kids will too!!

Saltire - just ignore them, they haven't got a clue!!

saltire · 31/03/2007 13:51

lonneytune, thanks i know i should ignore them. I'm just a bit pi**ed off that a jokey comment i made, which i knew most childminders would "get" was pouinced upon by people who, as you said don't have a clue!
I was just having a really crap day yesterday and i just wanted to vent

looneytune · 31/03/2007 13:57

Well good for you and keep on venting!!

Most people have bad days in whatever job they do and moan about them. Why should we not be able to moan too?!

Anyway, hope you feel better now
