Hi, what present would you recommend for a leaving gift for a child minder ? I wasn't sure whether chocolates were a unoriginal

Chocolates are fine. You'll be given a whole list of options, but don't worry. A reference letter to go with the chocolates would be even better.

Chocolates are fine. Have you any idea what she is into? A voucher for her favourite hairdressers/nail place/beauty salon would be great if I were your childminder or a Yankee candle for my childminder friend. If you don't really know what she is into, unoriginal is fine! (Amazon/Tesco voucher is also a good unoriginal present as they sell everything).

Thank you . I'm pretty sure the hairdressers in town has a gift voucher scheme - I hadn't even thought of that ! Thanks again

Chocolates / alcoholslways a good choice, I got mine a lovely compact mirror which was only about £10 and a bottle of champagne, she was amazing.
