Career Change.

I'm currently an Ofsted rated outstanding childminder and I'm very seriously considering a career change as my own children are older now and I would really like my house back. I'm also getting to the end of my tether with the reams of paperwork I end up doing in what should be family time.

I'm thinking about nannying as I really love being with the children and helping them develop but it would be amazing to have a few less to focus on.

I'm qualified to Level 3, hold a current paediatric first aid certificate, safeguarding certificates etc and have been childminding for 9 years.
I have excellent references to view too.

I currently earn a fair living and would like to keep things along the same lines.

I'm in the South East on the Kent/Bexley border.

I'm just wondering if there are other childminders that have switched to nannying who can highlight the pros and cons or parents who may be interested in giving me their opinions whether they'd be interested in someone with my experience or if the lack of actual nannying experience would be offputting?

Any responses greatfully received.
