New Au-Pair who wants to make friends

Hi
We have a new au-pair starting in September. She is German but I am sure would welcome friends from all nationalities.

We are in West Dulwich, so if there is anyone who is in a similar position or has suggestions for how she can make some new friends - these would be welcome

There'll be loads of au pairs around where you live. If you got her via an agency they should be able to put her in touch with other au pairs in the area. There are also au pair groups on Facebook. I give our au pairs a phone to use while they are here, and other families I know who have au pairs have that number so they can get together that way too.

Oh and if she goes to language school she'll make friends there too.
All in, I think it's pretty easy for an au pair to develop a social life in London.
