How's long would you give an au pair to decide?

I've been chatting to a potential au pair who seems great. I've told her that we would love her to join us. She's said she's only just joined au pair world so wants to give it some time before deciding. How long is reasonable to wait or should I just move on?!

I'd give her a week to let you know.

Agree a week but not more. There seems to an imbalance on APW at the moment with lots of families and very few au pairs. I would continue interviewing other au pairs whilst she is making a decision.

It sounds like she wants a better offer but to keep you as a back up. I agree offer a week and continue to search in the meantime.
