Does anyone know the regulations for au pairs and council tax? They are not lodgers so I am not sure if they need to be registered for council tax or not? Thanks in advance!

Not sure if an AuPair is any of those things listed. So does that mean you do need to tell the council and would lose single adult discount?

An au pair isn't a carer, if you are talking about the single person discount it will need cancelling.

Say nothing, why would you!
