Bro Pair

Our new Bro pair starts in a couple of weeks and we're all really looking forward to it.

Our boys especially are as this guy is a football coach and summer camp coach type thing so he'll be able to keep up with them!

He wants to be a primary school teacher and is hoping to perfect his English while he's here.

Any tips on helping him settle in? We've only had female au pairs before. I shouldn't think it's going to be that different?!

He's very sporty so there's a gym membership and use of the car.

He's really keen to volunteer at a local kids' football team so we're going to look into it.

Any thoughts?

Point him in the direction of the au pair Facebook group for your area, but be aware that he might be one of a very small number of guys. Might be nice to see if you can introduce him to some locals about his own age too.
