Hi! I'm doing market research for a new childcare idea. Please would you spend a minute answering a short questionnaire? Thanks in advance!! goo.gl/forms/09HQPOSHRHmHXwTF3

Hi, I checked out the link and wanted to fill in he questionnaire but I'm not a mum. I am a nanny. So couldn't really answer the questions.
Just wanted to give some feedback though. While I think it's a great idea, I can see lots of things that need addressing. You may not be aware but a nanny can only work for 2 families at any one time. That could be 2 families in a morning and 2 families in the afternoon. You can work for as many as you want so long as only 2 at one time. Which leads me to my next point... you suggest £2 per mum per hour, even with 4 families (which wouldn't be allowed) that only leaves the nanny with £6 (as host mum is free) per hour which is below min wage and also very low for nannies. I think your idea in theory is great if nanny gets paid more but just not sure how it could work. Would be interested to see how this develops though :)

I can't see it working. As a childcarer it sounds a nightmare! Things you haven't thought about..

Who would be the employer?
Coordinating holidays/annual leave?
Nanny's tax and Ni?
Illness?
How can that many mum's take telephone calls in one room?
Chaos of 4 kids with mums in the next room?

Would they ever get out and about? Not with 4 babies!

Totally illegal. What ratio would you have?! 1:4 under 1s?? How on earth would you make enough money from it to cover minimum wage. What mother is going to keep a whole playroom free all the time so that she can host? (Who has the space??) What if the nanny is sick- that's 4 mums that don't earn money that day,not just 1.

Nice idea, but there's a reason it doesn't exist- it's impractical.

Also you need to consider childcare is not about just watching children and keeping them safe from harm it should be stimulating and support development you just couldn't do this with that sort of ratio
