Would it be weird?

I have recently finished a nanny position and have just been asked to interview for a position on the same road, would it be weird?

No. You know the area well so know places to take children. You know the traffic conditions so can be accurate with your journey time to/from work.

You may bump in to the old family and that may be weird but other than that I don't feel it is weird at all.

i can't see anything weird about it.

It depends on why you left the previous job.

If it was a natural 'children-going-to-school' transition then I think it will be fine. It will probably be quite nice to be close to your previous family.

If you left for any other reason it may be weird/uncomfortable, particularly for the children from your old job.
