how much does a childminder charge?

can anyone help, i need to know how much a childminder chargers for a day, say from 7.30am to 7pm?

in lincolnshire we must be the poor relations of the childminding world ! i charge £2.60 p/hr, including drinks and snacks. for a full time place i would set a weekly fee that works out slightly less per hour than my ususal rate.

these are about average charges for cm's in my area, although i think most people i know would charge more for 'unsocial' hours - which would probably be after 6pm.

im 7 months preg and living in st albans (only been there 6 months)
will be going back to work in city after baby (not sure exactly when 9mth... 12mth maybe)
currently looking into possible options.
nursery or childminder.
can you offer advice? also i seen nurserys are often 8 til 6 (i work 7-5.30 at moment.) do CM have babies early and take them to a nursery?
