Hi,
Do childminders normally take 6 weeks off in the year in term-time? Any suggestions for what I do with our baby and 5 year old when she's away? I work term-time only!

i take 4 weeks off a year but i book hols in school hol time as my children are at school so i'm alivable in term time.

does your cm know another cm who can cover her hols?
i have just had an e-mail today from a parent asking if i can have her son for 2 weeks in may as her parents normally mind him but are away on hol in may
its worth a try
